Surety Account Manager

The main goal and function of a Surety Account Manager is to assist the production team in the production and service of new and existing accounts.  This responsibility includes customer service and all related functions of support for the Surety book of business.

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • File Maintenance
  • Preparing Surety submissions to carriers for clients and prospects
  • Correspondence with clients and companies
  • Invoicing bonds and extensions
  • Executing bonds and delivery to clients in a timely manner
  • Investigate accounting discrepancies and correct accordingly
  • Handle countersignature arrangements
  • Process incoming requests for additional information from Surety carriers
  • Monitoring and collecting of the aged receivables


  • Must be experienced in Surety
  • Must be able to work well in a time sensitive environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to research and analyze problems independently
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Multi-tasked and detail oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Able to self-check for accuracy
  • Must have Tennessee Agents License or obtain within 90 days of employment
