Quality Assurance / Trainer (Commercial Lines)

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct periodic compliance reviews of Account Managers
  • Establish and maintain Account Manager procedures with approval of VP, HR & Training
  • Provide Account Manager support as directed
  • Train new Account Manager as per JSL Standards Manual
  • Provide written reports of Account Manager performance and standards
  • Provide employees with basic PC support for MS Office products and other software applications required to perform daily functions
  • Assist in all phases of training for new and existing Account Managers as needed
  • Compile and present formal education in classroom setting
  • Work in conjunction with other trainers to fulfill department goals
  • Territory may change/expand with acquisition of new offices
  • Present suggestions to Training Dept. about improved work flows or procedures
  • Identify potential workflow/procedure/ or Account Manager related problems in offices and relay information to VP, HR
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Resident Insurance Agent License
  • High level of experience with Insurance Agency Management Software
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager
  • Extensive travel with overnight stays
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, including Managers
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Able to set own schedules, manage time, and work reliably with little supervision
