J. Smith Lanier & Co. Senior Vice President, Dave Knight Receives “Kathy Cruce” Award From Georgia Association of Health Underwriters |

Carrollton, Georgia—J. Smith Lanier & Co. is proud to announce Senior Vice President, Dave Knight of Carrollton, Georgia, received the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters “Kathy Cruce” Award. An example of what a first class insurance professional should be, Kathy Cruce gave her time to the Atlanta and Georgia Associations of Health Underwriters. She was greatly admired for her contributions by her clients, co-workers and fellow members of Health Underwriters. In order to honor her memory, Health Underwriters were asked to present an annual award in her name to an outstanding insurance professional. “Everyone at J. Smith Lanier & Co. is extremely proud of Dave’s dedication and exemplary contributions not only to J. Smith Lanier & Co., but also to the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters,” said J. Smith Lanier & Co. Chairman and CEO, D. Gaines Lanier. Knight is the past president of Georgia Association of Health Underwriters and is currently serving as the fundraising chair for the 2005 Board of Directors. Knight has given generously of his time, talent and money to the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters without fail for many years. Knight resides in Carrollton, Georgia, with his wife, Suzanne. They have two sons, Michael who is stationed in Italy with the Air Force and Joshua, who is in his third year at Florida School of Law. Knight is a member of the Lions Club where he is a Melvin Jones Recipient. He has been employed with J. Smith Lanier & Co. since 1978. |
