J. Smith Lanier & Co. Announce New Board of Directors |

West Point, Georgia—J. Smith Lanier & Co., one of the oldest and most respected independent insurance brokerage firms in the country, is honored to announce two Executive Vice Presidents have been named to the J. Smith Lanier & Co. Board of Directors. Robert W. Culpepper, Executive Vice President in Columbus, Georgia, has more than 20 years experience with J. Smith Lanier & Co. and specializes in insuring larger self insured retentions, risk transfers, and self insurance. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Business. Robert has served on several broker/insurance company councils and holds an associate in risk management (ARM) designation. K. Scott Crawford, AAI; Executive Vice President in Atlanta, Georgia, has been with J. Smith Lanier & Co. for 20 years working on many of the company’s larger and more complex accounts and has direct responsibility for the company’s Telecommunications and Technology Practice Group. Scott received his BBA in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia. He has received his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation and is currently pursuing Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. J.
